A 45-year-old white man, pseudophakic in the right eye with a contact lens in the left eye for monovision, presented with 10 days of foreign body sensation in both eyes that began when he was grinding metal. After the initial injury, he removed some of the metal from his right eye [Figure 1]a with a magnet, but noticed that his contact lens in the left eye “caught the metal” [Figure 1]b and [Figure 1]c. He was treated with foreign body removal OD at the slit lamp, a course of prophylactic antibiotic drops, and a stern reminder for using appropriate eye protection while grinding metal.{Figure 1}
