A 67-year-old man presented with complaints of foreign body sensation in the left eye. On examination, a vascularized tumor was seen emerging from the inferior iridocorneal angle with an inferior sentinel vessel [Figure 1]a. Ultrasound biomicroscopy indicated that the lesion originated from the iris and was restricted to the anterior chamber. Imaging revealed a mass in the right lung [[Figure 1]b-arrow] as well as multiple masses in the liver and brain [[Figure 1]c-arrows]. After the right lung biopsy, a stage IV small-cell lung carcinoma (with brain and liver metastasis) was established. Following five months of chemotherapy (with carboplatin and etoposide), the uveal tumor regressed, despite systemic disease progression [Figure 1]d. | Figure 1: Multimodal descriptive imaging of the case; (a) left eye anterior segment photograph revealing a vascularized iris tumor; (b) computed tomography imaging showing a mass in the right inferior lobe (white arrow); (c) multiple brain lesions (white arrows) in gadolinium-enhanced T1-weighted magnetic resonance sequence; (d) left eye anterior segment photograph, five months after chemotherapy
