We report a case of a 22-year-old gentleman who presented with diminution of vision in his left eye for the past 2 years. Clinical examination revealed a large disc with presence of an optic disc coloboma in the inferior segment along with optic disc pit in the temporal segment of the disc [Figure 1]. Wedge-shaped atrophy temporal to the optic disc was noted, suggesting spontaneously resolved optic disc maculopathy. No intraretinal or subretinal fluid was seen on optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan passing through the optic disc pit, papillomacular bundle, and fovea. Right eye fundus examination was within normal limit.

Literature search revealed a few isolated published case reports of this clinical entity.,, Ours is a unique case having high-definition images of two optic disc anomalies – optic disc pit with optic disc coloboma coexisting simultaneously with spontaneously resolved optic disc maculopathy in one eye while the other eye is normal.
