A 28-year-old otherwise healthy male, operated left eye vitreo-retinal surgery 6 months back with silicone oil in situ, on examination had radial pseudopodia like water clefts in the posterior subcapsular lenticular area [Figure 1]. This cataract resembles a radial waterfall, which infact is the actual meaning of the word “cataract.”[1] This “cataract like cataract” may represent the early stage of lenticular lamellar separation with fluid imbibition.
