The main objective of this report is to encourage fellow ophthalmologists especially in primary eye care setups to capture and document clinical signs using smartphone. Few reports have been published on the technique for smartphone-assisted photography in ophthalmology.,,, Smartphones have become a low-cost device making it one other way to capture a good quality image. Pictures shown below [Figure 1] were taken using a low cost commonly available smartphone (13 mega pixel rear camera) barehanded through a slit-lamp eyepiece. There is an initial learning curve, but with experience a good quality image can be captured.
